Danfoss Power Solutions has begun construction on a new manufacturing facility in Talegaon, Pune, with an investment of ₹1,000 crore. The company held a groundbreaking ceremony on February 4, 2025.
With existing plants in Chennai, Mumbai, Vadodara, Bengaluru, and Pune, Danfoss will use the 44-acre site to expand production of pumps, motors, cylinders, and valves while introducing new product lines. This expansion will double the company’s manufacturing footprint in India, driving innovation and sustainability.
Scheduled for completion by late 2026, the facility will serve both domestic and global markets. Additionally, an Application Development Centre (ADC) will be established at the site to advance machinery research and development. The new factory will also align with Danfoss' sustainability goals, contributing to its commitment to decarbonizing global operations by 2030.
"Our new state-of-the-art facility in Pune will enable us to better support local customers by enhancing our production capabilities and delivering sustainable solutions," said Daniel Winter, President of Danfoss Power Solutions.
