Dilip Buildcon has emerged as the lowest (L-1) bidder for the Mine Developer and Operator (MDO) contract for the Pottangi Bauxite Mines, tendered by National Aluminium Company (NALCO).
The contract covers the development and operation of the Odisha-based mines, including construction of essential infrastructure such as an overland conveyor corridor (OLCC), roads, a water intake facility, and mining and transportation systems. The scope is structured in two phases: the first three years dedicated to EPC works for the OLCC, roads, water intake, and mining setup, followed by 22 years of mining operations.
With this project, Dilip Buildcon is set to play a significant role in supporting NALCO’s long-term mining strategy at Pottangi.
