DBL-RBL JV Secures ₹1,503 Crore Gurugram Metro Contract

The DBL-RBL joint venture has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) for the construction of a key stretch of the Gurugram Metro Corridor, covering the section between Millennium City Centre and Cyber City (26.65 km), along with a 1.85 km spur from Basai Village to Dwarka Expressway — totaling 27 stations.

Valued at ₹1,503.63 crore (including GST), the contract includes construction of the viaduct and 14 elevated stations from Millennium City Centre to Sector-9 (inclusive), covering chainage (-)381 m to 12,603 m. It also involves a 1.85 km spur line to the Dwarka Expressway, a ramp to the depot at Sector 33, and an underpass at Bhaktawar Chowk. The scope excludes pre-engineered building (PEB) and architectural finishing works.

The project will be executed on an “Item Rate” basis and is scheduled for completion within 30 months. The total length under this package is 15.22 km.

Once operational, the metro corridor is expected to significantly improve urban mobility in Gurugram by connecting key commercial and residential hubs — Millennium City Centre, Cyber City, and Dwarka Expressway — easing congestion in one of NCR’s most densely populated regions.
