SPML Infra Wins ₹1,073 Crore Indore Water Project

SPML Infra, a leading player in water infrastructure development, has been awarded a ₹1,073 crore contract by the Indore Municipal Corporation under the AMRUT 2.0 initiative to modernise and expand the city’s water supply system.

The project, which includes a 10-year operation and maintenance (O&M) component, is set to benefit over two million residents of Indore. Key infrastructure works include a 1,650 MLD intake with a raw water pump house, a 400 MLD advanced water treatment plant, multiple booster pumping stations, 22 km of large-diameter transmission pipelines (1,200–2,337 mm), and a 132/33 kV substation to support system operations.

The engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) phase is scheduled for completion within 30 months, including monsoon periods.

Commenting on the development, SPML Infra Chairman Subhash Sethi said, “We are proud to be entrusted with this critical project by Indore Municipal Corporation under the AMRUT 2.0 scheme.
