Dilip Buildcon (DBL) has been officially awarded the project to construct observatory towers on the new Zuari Bridge in Goa, following the acceptance of their bid by the Public Works Department (PWD). The estimated cost of the project is approximately Rs 270.07 crore.

The scope of the project entrusted to DBL includes the development of observatory towers and viewing galleries, along with associated components such as approaches, decorative lighting, and parking facilities on the new bridge situated on NH-17/NH-66 in the Panjim-Mangalore section of Goa.

The construction will be carried out under the design, build, finance, operate, and transfer (DBFOT) mode.

Having secured the project as the lowest bidder (L1) in early November, DBL had been awaiting the official award from the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH). The construction timeline for the project is set at 60 months, with completion expected within this period.
