E. Ramamurthy Minerals & Metals Private Limited is planning to set up a new Induction Furnace Project at Navilebasapura, Shivamogga, Karnataka. The project is expected to have a capacity of 59000 TPA per annum and is expected to be completed in 2025. The Project Cost is 23 Crores.The project will create jobs and boost the local economy. It will attract investment to the region.

 It will help to improve the environmental performance of the steel industry. In addition to the above, I would like to add that the project has received environmental clearance from the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change (MoEFCC) in August 2023. The company has also obtained all the necessary approvals from the state government of Karnataka. As of September 2023, The project is now in the stage of receiving approvals & has obtained all necessary government permissions work of the project is anticipated to occur in either 2023 or 2024.
