UPL Limited Unit 10 Plan to Expand Pesticides Intermediates Manufacturing in Maharashtra

UPL Limited is a leading global provider of sustainable plant protection solutions. The company is expanding its existing Pesticides & Pesticide Specific Intermediates Manufacturing Unit at E51-1&2, E52, MIDC Notified Industrial Estate Tarapur, Boisar, District Palghar, Maharashtra. 

The expansion project is expected to cost 227.06 crore and will increase the unit's production capacity to 5,636 MT/Month of pesticides. The project is expected to be completed by 2024.

The expansion project is a significant step in UPL Limited's ongoing efforts to expand its global manufacturing footprint. As on November 2023, The project is now in the stage of construction being started. The completion of the project's work has reached the 10% mark. The work on the project will be finished by December of 2024.
