SFO Technologies, part of the NeST Group, is set to invest ₹2,270 crore to establish a new manufacturing plant in Theni district, Tamil Nadu.
The facility will focus on producing printed circuit boards (PCBs)—a critical component used in nearly all modern electronic devices, including smartphones, tablets, and smartwatches—along with other key electronics components. The Kochi-based electronics manufacturing services company is expected to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu government during the TN Rising Conclave in Madurai.
The company is also exploring the possibility of manufacturing composites, connectors, relays, optical transceivers, and additional advanced components at the new plant. A senior executive noted that the project aligns with the rapidly growing demand in the electronics sector and represents a significant step in strengthening domestic electronics manufacturing capabilities.
