The 150-kiloliter-per-day initiative intends to address alcohol demand in multiple businesses while ensuring operational efficiency and quality.
The project takes advantage of Sankonatti, Belagavi, Karnataka's agricultural terrain and strategic location. Sugarcane crops and industrial infrastructure in Karnataka assist distillery operations. In addition, the project's 2.5 MW captive power plant guarantees reliable electricity for uninterrupted manufacturing, improving operational resilience and sustainability.
Economic growth and employment generation in Belagavi and nearby areas are possible with the Distillery Project. The project aims to create jobs at all skill levels by producing alcohol for industrial use, boosting livelihoods and community empowerment.
