Final Push: Dharavi Survey Reaches Over 63,000 Tenements.

The Dharavi redevelopment survey has entered its final phase, with over 63,000 tenements surveyed, according to Navbharat Mega Developers (NMDPL), a joint venture between the Government of Maharashtra and the Adani Group.

SVR Srinivas, CEO of the Dharavi Redevelopment Project, emphasized the significance of this milestone, stating, “Our survey has reached a crucial stage, marking a major achievement for the government. This redevelopment initiative extends beyond ground-floor tenements to include upper-floor structures, reaffirming the commitment to inclusive housing. No resident of Dharavi will be left behind.”

The statement further noted that lane reconnaissance has been completed for over 95,000 tenements, numbering has been conducted for more than 89,000, and door-to-door surveys have covered over 63,000 tenements.

Unlike previous efforts, this survey encompasses all structures, including ground and upper floors, existing SRA buildings, slum dwellers on RLDA land, and religious structures.
