The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) has signed a concession agreement with Mallannasagar Water Supply, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ramky Infrastructure, for the implementation of the "Godavari Drinking Water Supply Scheme – Phase II and III."
The project aims to supply Godavari water to Osmansagar and Himayathsagar reservoirs, contributing to the rejuvenation of the Musi River. Executed under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM), the scope includes construction, manning, operation, and maintenance.
Construction is set to be completed within two years, followed by a 10-year operations and maintenance period. With a total project value of ₹2,085 crore, the initiative will significantly strengthen Hyderabad’s water security and urban water infrastructure.
