Gati Shakti Takes Off in UP: DFCCIL Invites Bids for Multi-Modal Cargo Terminal

The Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India (DFCCIL) has released an invitation for bids for the development of the Gati Shakti Multi-Modal Cargo Terminal (GCT) in Uttar Pradesh.

The project encompasses the planning, construction, development, and operation of the Gati Shakti Multi-Modal Cargo Terminal (GCT), designed for efficiently handling cargo on common loop line no.1 towards the New Khurja end of the New Boraki station, situated on DFCCIL/Railway land. This initiative falls under Schedule-'2' of the GCT Policy of Indian Railways, covering a comprehensive range of tasks including civil works, building construction, electrical installations (inclusive of street lights, motorized isolator), as well as signaling and telecommunication works.

Commencement of construction is slated to begin within three months of receiving approval for the ESP (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) phase. The entire project is anticipated to be completed within a timeframe of 18 months. The contract holds a total value of Rs 156 crore.

Interested parties are required to submit their bids by the specified deadline of 16th February 2024.
