Gensol Engineering has clinched a significant contract for 116 MW of solar power projects across Gujarat. This ambitious initiative, which promises an estimated EPC revenue of Rs 600 crore, will see the development of solar installations at 27 locations throughout the state. These projects are poised to enhance Gujarat's renewable energy infrastructure significantly.
The solar projects will fall under the jurisdiction of Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL) and are targeted for completion within the next 12 months. The focus will be on feeder-level solarisation, aiming to cater to the energy needs of agricultural feeders connected to distribution substations. This strategic approach is expected to improve power supply reliability and sustainability in the region.
Gensol Engineering, known for its expertise in solar power engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services, will spearhead this project. The company's capabilities also extend to electric mobility solutions, reflecting its commitment to advancing sustainable energy technologies.
