GIFT City Enters Ultra-Luxury with First DTA Hotel

GIFTCL is embarking on a pioneering endeavor to introduce the inaugural ultra-luxury hotel within the domestic tariff area (DTA) of GIFT City, located in the Gandhinagar district. Envisioned to encompass a minimum of 300 keys and development rights extending to no less than 5,00,000 sq. ft., this project marks a significant leap in the city's hospitality landscape.

While GIFT City presently boasts a five-star hotel and a club, this proposed venture will herald the advent of ultra-luxury accommodations within its confines. The forthcoming expansion, outlined in the master plan, is set to augment the city's footprint from its existing 886 acres to over 3,300 acres, accompanied by essential social infrastructure.

The strategic development blueprint not only underscores GIFT City's evolution as a global financial epicenter but also underscores its commitment to providing world-class amenities. Following due process, the second phase development plan, inclusive of town planning schemes, is slated for public revelation post the state government's evaluation and requisite public feedback.

Prospective bidders have been summoned to participate in this esteemed project, with submissions accepted online until February 20 and physically by February 21, 2024. As per stipulations, interested parties must demonstrate prior experience in erecting hotels of five-star caliber or higher, boasting a minimum inventory of 250 rooms.
