Godrej Agrovet, one of India’s leading diversified agri-food companies, has signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) on the sidelines of World Food India 2025.

As part of the proposed ₹960-crore investment, the company aims to establish state-of-the-art manufacturing and processing facilities, along with an upstream R&D centre, to strengthen its capabilities in food processing and agri-business. The investment will primarily support expansion in the oil palm and pet food segments, with projects planned across Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Tripura, Telangana, and Maharashtra.

Speaking on the occasion, CEO & MD Sunil Kataria stated that the investment is aligned with the company’s long-term vision to boost agri-food processing, distribution, and innovation, while creating sustainable value across the supply chain.
