The Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) has announced the commencement of operations at two new stations—Juna Koba and Koba Gam—on the Ahmedabad–Gandhinagar Metro corridor, effective 28 September 2025.
Located on the Yellow Line, which connects Motera in Ahmedabad to Gandhinagar, the new stations significantly enhance last-mile connectivity for daily commuters. Strategically positioned between Koba Circle and GNLU, they serve as vital access points for passengers traveling towards GIFT City and the state capital.
This expansion represents another milestone in Gujarat’s efforts to strengthen its urban metro infrastructure and deliver faster, cleaner, and more efficient public transport solutions. Regular metro services from Koba Gam and Juna Koba will provide seamless connectivity to key destinations, including Sachivalaya, APMC, and GIFT City.
