GPT Infraprojects has secured a Rs 481.11 crore contract from South Eastern Railway, Kolkata. The project involves the construction of Bridge No. 57 over the Rupnarayan River for the down and middle line.
The scope of work includes the construction of 2x30.5 meters OWG, 7x91.4 meters OWG, and 2x30.5 meters OWG, as well as viaducts on both approaches with composite girders. The project also involves the development of Kolaghat Station with elevated platforms No. 1 and 2, situated on a diverted alignment along the Howrah-Kharagpur route in the Kharagpur division. The execution will be carried out under the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) mode.
GPT Infraprojects specializes in delivering large-scale civil and infrastructure projects, including major bridges and railway overbridges (ROBs). The company also manufactures and supplies concrete sleepers for the railway networks in India and Africa.
