Haryana Launches ₹523 Crore Infrastructure Blitz

The Haryana government has approved infrastructure projects worth ₹523 crore, focusing on stormwater management, road repairs, sanitation, and industrial development. The approvals came during a High Powered Works Purchase Committee meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.

In Gurugram, ₹104.95 crore was sanctioned to construct 18.32 km of reinforced cement concrete stormwater drains from Sectors 76 to 80 and along NH-48 in Sector 48. The drains will channel water to the Najafgarh drain via the Badshahpur drain, aiming to reduce monsoon-related waterlogging.

To improve road safety and connectivity, ₹48 crore has been allocated for urgent repairs to the 60-km Manesar–Palwal section of the Kundli–Manesar–Palwal (KMP) Expressway.

In Faridabad, ₹58 crore will go toward building a 45 MLD sewage treatment plant equipped with a tertiary treatment unit to enhance sanitation and promote water recycling.

Officials stated that these projects will significantly improve water management, transportation, and industrial infrastructure across the state.
