HG Infra Engineering Secures ₹781 Crore Road Project in Gujarat

HG Infra Engineering has received a letter of award (LoA) from the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) for a significant road upgradation project in Gujarat. Valued at ₹781.11 crore, the contract will see the development of a key section of National Highway 47, stretching from Narol Junction to Sarkhej Junction.

The project involves the construction of an elevated corridor covering a length of 10.630 km, aimed at improving traffic flow and connectivity along the busy NH-47. The upgrade is part of a broader infrastructure enhancement plan to support Gujarat’s rapidly growing transportation needs and economic development.

The contract will be executed under the hybrid annuity mode (HAM), a public-private partnership model that allows for shared financial responsibility between the government and private contractors. This method ensures a more balanced approach to project funding and execution, with HG Infra managing both construction and part of the investment risk.

HG Infra Engineering, known for its expertise in infrastructure and road construction, will be responsible for all aspects of the project, including surveying, designing, and executing the road work. The elevated corridor is expected to significantly improve traffic conditions, reduce congestion, and provide faster access to key areas along the highway.

This contract further strengthens HG Infra’s standing in India’s infrastructure sector and underscores the company’s ability to handle large-scale projects efficiently. With this project, Gujarat’s transportation network is set to receive a significant boost, benefiting commuters and supporting regional economic growth.
