Hi-Tech Pipes has begun commercial production at its Sanand Unit II, Phase-II in Gujarat, marking a significant milestone in its ongoing brownfield expansion strategy.
This new phase adds 100,000 MTPA of manufacturing capacity, strengthening the company’s presence in Western India and enhancing its ability to cater to rapidly growing industrial sectors. The Sanand facility is equipped to produce large-diameter ERW pipes, jumbo hollow sections, and structural-grade steel products, positioning it to serve high-demand industries such as solar, fabrication, engineering, and infrastructure.
Strategically located near major industrial clusters in Gujarat, the expansion improves logistics efficiency, reduces transportation costs, and ensures faster delivery to customers across the region.
The upgrade also broadens Hi-Tech Pipes’ product portfolio with larger diameters and more value-added grades, supporting long-term growth and operational scale. Furthermore, the enhanced capabilities are expected to increase export contributions, enabling the supply of heavy hollow sections and large-diameter ERW pipes to international markets.
