Himalaya Communications Plans HDPE Pipes in Himachal Pradesh

Himalaya Communications Private Limited is coming up with a new HDPE Pipes Manufacturing Unit Project at Katha Baddi, Solan, Himachal Pradesh. The project is expected to have a production capacity of 6000 Tonnes of HDPE Pipes per annum. The total cost of the project was 2 Crores.

HDPE pipes are high-density polyethylene pipes that are widely used in various applications, including water supply, wastewater disposal, gas distribution, and irrigation. The demand for HDPE pipes is growing globally due to their durability, flexibility, and resistance to corrosion. The project will help to meet the growing demand for HDPE pipes in India and around the world.

HDPE pipes are very durable and can withstand a wide range of temperatures and pressures. They are also resistant to impact and abrasion, making them ideal for use in harsh environments. HDPE pipes are very flexible and can be easily bent and curved without cracking or breaking. This makes them easy to install and suitable for use in areas with uneven terrain. HDPE pipes are resistant to corrosion from a wide range of chemicals, including acids, alkalis, and salts. This makes them ideal for use in applications where they will be exposed to corrosive substances.

As on November 2023, The project is now in the stage of receiving approvals. The project has received all necessary clearances. By the end of the year 2023, development on the project will have begun.
