IIT Delhi & Micron: Powering Semiconductor Innovation

The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) has joined forces with Micron Technology to drive cutting-edge research in electronic materials and AI-based modeling, targeting key challenges in semiconductor manufacturing.

Facilitated by IIT Delhi’s Corporate Relations office, this strategic partnership aims to bridge the gap between academic innovation and industry application. The collaboration will harness advanced technologies and scientific expertise to develop next-generation solutions that improve the performance and reliability of semiconductor components.

A major focus area includes deploying AI-driven neural models to predict and prevent fatigue and fractures in copper-based electronic materials—critical to ensuring the long-term durability of semiconductor devices.
