Ingersoll Rand: ₹170 Crore Sanand Expansion is ON

Ingersoll Rand, a global leader in air compressors and industrial solutions, has inaugurated a new ₹170-crore manufacturing facility in Sanand, Gujarat — one of its most significant investments in India to date. This expansion reflects the company’s strategic focus on the region and its commitment to strengthening local and global supply chains.

Scheduled to begin production by Q4 of FY2025, the plant will support Ingersoll Rand’s growing customer base across India and international markets. In its first phase, the facility is expected to produce over 24,000 units annually, with future phased investments planned to scale operations in line with rising demand.

The Sanand facility will manufacture a range of products designed for life sciences, industrial applications, and air compression, all aligned with Ingersoll Rand’s global standards for quality and sustainability. This development not only underscores Gujarat’s emergence as a key manufacturing hub but also reinforces India’s expanding role in the company’s global operations.
