Swedish tech giant Ericsson is set to begin antenna manufacturing in India through a partnership with VVDN Technologies. This strategic move aims to boost innovation, accelerate growth, and support India’s digital transformation, particularly in the rollout of 5G.
Ericsson highlighted that local production will allow for faster time-to-market, closer collaboration with Indian partners, and enhanced flexibility to meet customer demands. The Indian facility will become a vital part of Ericsson’s global supply chain—joining existing hubs in Mexico, Romania, and China—helping strengthen supply chain resilience and global responsiveness.
A significant portion of the antennas produced in India will be exported, positioning the country as a key manufacturing and export hub in Ericsson’s international network.
