INOX Air Products has achieved a key milestone at the Odisha Investors’ Meet in Kolkata by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to set up a 2×1,300 tonnes-per-day (TPD) air separation unit at Tata Steel’s Meramandali facility in Odisha.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Industry Minister Sampad Char, and Siddharth Jain. The agreement highlights Odisha’s continued focus on attracting industrial investment, with the Industrial Promotion and Investment Corporation of Odisha (IPICOL) acting as the nodal agency. The proposed facility will supply essential atmospheric gases to major industrial consumers, including Tata Steel, thereby strengthening the state’s industrial infrastructure.
The project represents a strategic collaboration between INOX Air Products and Tata Steel and is expected to contribute significantly to the expanding industrial ecosystem in Odisha.
