Jaipur Metro Phase 2: The Ultimate Airport Connection

Jaipur Metro’s Phase 2 project is set to significantly enhance the city’s connectivity by directly linking both airport terminals, enabling faster and more seamless access for passengers.

The project will be implemented through a unique execution strategy that divides construction into seven packages, allowing multiple agencies to work simultaneously and helping to avoid delays. This phased approach is designed to ensure timely completion of the metro corridor. Beyond improving travel convenience, the expansion is also expected to generate employment and promote urban development along the proposed route.

Mamta Shah, MD & CEO of Urban Infra Group, noted that airport-linked metro corridors are transformative for cities, as they enhance mobility, reduce congestion on major roads, and stimulate economic growth.
