Jakson Group Goes Global: A ₹8,000 Crore Solar Leap

Diversified energy and infrastructure player Jakson Group, which is establishing a 6 GW integrated solar manufacturing facility in Madhya Pradesh with an investment of around ₹8,000 crore, is planning to significantly scale up exports of solar modules starting next financial year.

The group is targeting key overseas markets, including the United States, Europe, and West Asia, as it seeks to leverage the expanded manufacturing capacity from the upcoming facility. Preparatory work for exports is already underway.

“We have already started working on exports. Once the new plant becomes operational, we will export modules in a big way,” said Sundeep Gupta, Vice-Chairman of the Jakson Group.
