Jakson has secured the status of the lowest bidder (L1) for a significant component of the Chennai Metro Rail Project, Phase-II. The company's bid has been accepted for Corridor-V, covering essential electrical and mechanical (E&M) works. This involves a comprehensive package including the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of critical systems such as electrical, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
The scope of work spans from Madhavaram Milk Colony Station (excluding) at chainage 76.000 to Grain Market Station (excluding) at chainage 16399.716. Jakson’s commitment to these tasks includes extensive training to ensure smooth operation and maintenance of the installed systems.
Jakson's bid, valued at Rs 201.50 crore, has been recognized by Chennai Metro Rail as the most competitive and technically sound offer. This development marks a significant milestone in the progress of Corridor-V, reflecting Jakson’s capability and competitiveness in delivering high-quality metro rail infrastructure.
