JNPA Invites Experts to Power the Port with Raigad’s Tides

Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) has invited expressions of interest (EoIs) for consultancy services for a proposed tidal power plant at Dhutum and Chirner Reservoir Creek in Uran, Raigad district, Maharashtra.

The project is aimed at generating clean energy to supply power to the JNPA feeder. The selected consultant will be responsible for conducting a feasibility study, preparing the detailed project report (DPR), securing statutory approvals, and managing the tendering process under the Renewable Energy Service Company (RESCO) model.

This initiative forms part of JNPA’s broader strategy to expand its renewable energy portfolio and promote sustainable power generation in the region.

The deadline for submission of EoIs is 10 January 2026.
