The Tapi Irrigation Development Corporation has invited bids for the survey, investigation and construction of overflow and non-overflow structures, along with earthen dams at nine locations across the Nar Par and Auranga river basins.
The project covers sites at Umberpada, Sarnyawan, Pratapgad, Rakshasbhuvan, Milan, Ghodi, Ukhedmal, Sawarpada and Devmal. The scope of work also includes the construction of sumps at Mankhed and Salbhoya, pump houses, pumping machinery, electromechanical works and rising mains to connect the dams and sumps. In addition, diversion and connecting tunnels will be developed to transfer water to the Girna river basin.
Valued at ₹4,116.11 crore, the contract includes testing, commissioning and operation during the defect liability period (DLP), along with obtaining environmental clearances, land acquisition and other statutory approvals. The project is aimed at strengthening irrigation infrastructure, improving regional water management and enhancing agricultural productivity in the Nashik region.
The completion period is 84 months, including monsoon constraints. The deadline for submission of bids is 28 January 2026.
