JSW Utkal Partners with Odisha Government for Mega Jetty Project

JSW Utkal Steel has solidified its infrastructure footprint in Odisha by signing a novation agreement with the state government for a new captive jetty at Jatadhar Muhan. This maritime gateway will be developed by JSW Jatadhar Marine Services—a wholly-owned subsidiary of JSW Infrastructure—under a build, own, operate, share, and transfer model. Approved in June 2026, the jetty is a critical logistical backbone for JSW Steel's massive Rs 1 lakh crore, 13.2 MTPA greenfield integrated steel complex at Paradip. The mega-project spans blast furnaces, a captive power plant, and a cement grinding unit. Simultaneously, JSW Steel continues to scale its presence in the region through a separate greenfield steel joint venture with POSCO.
