Nara Lokesh Fast-Tracks ₹300Cr South Korean Shoe Project for AP

Andhra Pradesh Minister for IT and HRD Nara Lokesh has urged South Korea's Shoealls Co. to fast-track its upcoming ₹300 crore footwear manufacturing plant in the state. Meeting with Shoealls CEO Lee Cheong-geun in Seoul, Lokesh proposed expanding the project to include an R&D hub and a retail distribution center. Shoealls, known for specialized medical footwear, is currently developing AI-driven smart shoes with top Korean medical institutions. During his South Korean visit, Lokesh also met with SOLUM Group, pushing for expanded production of Electronic Shelf Labels and displays at their upcoming ₹338 crore Sri City facility.
