Jupiter Wagons Secures ₹113 Crore Railway Deal for LHB Axles

Jupiter Tatravagonka Railwheel Factory, a key subsidiary of Jupiter Wagons, has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from the Ministry of Railways, Railway Board, dated September 9, 2025.

The contract entails the supply of 9,000 LHB axles for FIAT-IR Bogies, with a total order value of approximately ₹113 crore. This significant order reinforces Jupiter Wagons' position in the domestic rail component manufacturing sector and aligns with the Indian government’s ongoing efforts to modernize passenger coaches using lightweight and high-performance LHB (Linke Hofmann Busch) technology.

With continued investments in rail infrastructure, the company anticipates sustained demand in this segment. The award also reflects confidence in Jupiter Wagons’ engineering capabilities and strengthens its role as a reliable partner in Indian Railways’ modernization drive.
