Rajesh Power Services Wins ₹143 Crore DGVCL Contract

Rajesh Power Services has been awarded a ₹143.11 crore turnkey contract by Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Ltd. (DGVCL) for the underground conversion of the existing 11/22kV high-tension (HT) power network.

The project, undertaken under the SI scheme, covers Valsad City, Valsad Rural, and Surat Rural regions. It involves replacing overhead lines with underground cable and MVCC (multi-core covered conductor) systems to modernize and enhance the reliability of the power distribution infrastructure.

Rajesh Power Services will be responsible for the complete project lifecycle—including planning, design, procurement, installation, and commissioning. The upgrade is aimed at improving operational efficiency, system resilience, and long-term service reliability across the targeted regions.

The project is scheduled for completion within 18 months.
