The New & Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh has issued a tender seeking a development partner to establish a municipal solid waste (MSW) to energy processing facility in the Kakinada-Rajahmundry Cluster, Andhra Pradesh.
The Rs 200 crore project will be executed on a Design, Build, Finance, Operate, and Transfer (DBFOT) basis. The selected concessionaire will be responsible for constructing and managing waste-to-energy (WtE) plants to process the designated MSW volume and handle the disposal of process residues and inert materials.
The bid submission deadline is 14 April 2025.
