Karkhana x Micron EMS: The Future of Electronics is Full-Stack

Karkhana, a Bengaluru-based manufacturing startup, has acquired Micron EMS Tech Pvt Ltd in an undisclosed deal, marking a key step in its transition from a manufacturing aggregation platform to a full-stack electronics manufacturing partner.

The acquisition adds a dedicated manufacturing facility of over 40,000 square feet in Bengaluru to Karkhana’s operations. The facility is equipped with high-speed surface mount technology (SMT) lines and through-hole assembly lines for printed circuit board (PCB) assembly, along with more than 10 box-build lines.

With the addition of this facility, Karkhana aims to strengthen its in-house printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) capabilities and expand its ability to deliver integrated electronics manufacturing solutions.

The company said the move will help it better serve Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) seeking end-to-end electronics manufacturing support.
