Karnataka Taps Into Growth with New ₹174 Cr Irrigation Bid

Karnataka Neeravari Nigam has invited bids for the execution of the Mahalaxmi Lift Irrigation Scheme (Phase II) on a lump-sum turnkey basis.

Valued at ₹174.02 crore, the project aims to strengthen the state’s irrigation infrastructure by expanding water distribution for agricultural use. The scope of work includes the development of lift irrigation systems designed to improve water availability for farming activities in the region, supporting enhanced agricultural productivity.

Phase II of the Mahalaxmi Lift Irrigation Scheme is a key component in meeting the growing irrigation demand and promoting more efficient utilisation of water resources across the project area.

The deadline for submission of bids is January 30, 2026.
