KCC Buildcon Soars with ₹283 Crore Bundi Airport Win

KCC Buildcon has emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder for a ₹283 crore contract for the development of a greenfield airport at Bundi, near Kota in Rajasthan.

Issued by the Airports Authority of India (AAI), the tender encompasses the complete design, engineering, procurement, and execution of key airside infrastructure. The scope includes earthworks, grading, and the construction of a runway, taxiways, apron, and isolation bay.

In addition, the contract covers civil and electrical works for navigational aids (NAV-AIDS), construction of a perimeter and approach road, operational and non-operational boundary walls, runway lighting systems, and other allied works essential to airport operations.

This project is part of the government’s broader effort to boost regional air connectivity under the UDAN scheme. With this bid, KCC Buildcon strengthens its foothold in the aviation infrastructure space, further demonstrating its technical expertise and capacity to deliver complex, high-value public infrastructure projects.
