KEC International, a subsidiary of the RPG Group, has secured new orders totaling Rs 1,061 crore across multiple business segments. Notably, its Transmission & Distribution (T&D) division clinched projects in India, East Asia Pacific, and the Americas. These projects encompass transmission lines and substations, including orders from a private developer in India, an additional transmission line project in Malaysia, and the supply of towers, hardware, and poles in America.
In the realm of Railways, KEC International secured its first order for composite gauge conversion works and power supply systems from the Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation (BMRC). The contract involves setting up power supply systems, including receiving substations, high voltage cabling, and associated civil works, indicating the company's growing presence in metro rail infrastructure.
The cables business of KEC International also saw notable developments, securing orders for power transmission conductors from a major infrastructure player in India, along with various cable supply contracts both domestically and internationally. These successive wins across different business verticals have significantly bolstered the company's order book in both domestic and global markets.
Currently executing projects in over 30 countries, KEC International is a prominent player in the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) space. Its global footprint spans across 110+ countries, encompassing EPC contracts, tower supply, and cable distribution, highlighting its expansive reach and diversified portfolio in the infrastructure sector.
