KMEW Sets Sail Southward: Lands Debut Contract at V.O. Chidambaranar Port

Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works Ltd. (KMEW) has secured a significant contract with the V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority for the supply, manning, operation, and maintenance of a high-speed patrol boat on a five-year hire basis. This Rs.5,86,05,141/- contract marks KMEW's first venture into southern India, enhancing its reputation within the maritime sector. The company's success at Vizag and Paradip Ports has played a crucial role in this achievement, making it their fourth triumph in high-speed patrol boat deployments.

This contract increases KMEW's fleet to 27 vessels, serving 15 entities, including ports, PSUs, and ministries across three countries. KMEW's commitment to delivering quality vessels within stipulated timelines reinforces its position as a reliable player in the sector. CEO Sujay Kewalramani expressed enthusiasm about expanding into the southern market, highlighting the untapped opportunities at V.O. Chidambaranar Port and the company's dedication to exploring new prospects nationwide.
