KNK Projects has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) for a major contract under the AMRUT 2.0 scheme, aimed at enhancing the water supply infrastructure in Palwal Town, Haryana.
Commissioned by the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Haryana, the project involves the construction of four Ranney wells in the Yamuna Flood Plain near Thanthri village, installation of rising mains to the Master Balancing Station (MBS) at Thanthri, construction of the MBS at Kithwari, and laying of a PCCP rising main between MBS Thanthri and MBS Kithwari.
The scope also includes a three-month trial run, followed by a 12-month defect liability period (DLP) and five years of comprehensive operation and maintenance. The targeted completion period is 21 months.
