Kolkata's RKFL: Forging a 120,000-Tonne Future by 2025.

Kolkata-based Ramkrishna Forgings Limited (RKFL) is set to double its steel casting capacity to 1,20,000 tonnes per year by 2025, strengthening its presence across multiple industries. Currently operating with an annual capacity of 60,000 tonnes across 16 plants in Jharkhand, the company aims to achieve this expansion through strategic investments and acquisitions.

Since beginning exports in 2010, RKFL has grown its international revenue to 60%, with North America as its largest market. Its global clientele includes industry leaders such as Volvo, Mack Trucks, Iveco, DAF, Scania, MAN, UD Trucks, and Ford Otosan. The company has also expanded its product portfolio from 35 to 69 categories while diversifying from two to five business verticals.

In a significant development, RKFL recently secured a contract with a leading US-based EV manufacturer, reinforcing India’s role in the global supply chain amid the growing 'China plus one' strategy.
