Laxmi Genchem Sciences Planning a new API Manufacturing in Karnataka

Laxmi Genchem Sciences Private Limited is coming up with an Active Pharmaceuticals Intermediates (APIs) Manufacturing Unit at Kadechur Industrial Area, Yadagir, Karnataka. The project is expected to cost 17 Crores and will have a proposed production capacity of 45 Ton/Month. 
Active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) are the active components in pharmaceutical drugs that produce the desired therapeutic effect. They are the essential building blocks of medicines and play a crucial role in treating and preventing a wide range of diseases. Active pharmaceutical intermediates (APIs), also known as bulk drugs, are intermediate chemicals used in the synthesis of APIs. They are often produced in large quantities and undergo rigorous quality control measures to ensure their purity and consistency.

As on November 2023, The project is now in the stage of construction being started. The completion of the project's work has reached the 70% mark. The work on the project will be finished by February of 2024.
