Lemon Tree Hotels is set to embark on an ambitious expansion plan, with intentions to inaugurate 30 new properties across the country within the current calendar year, potentially augmenting its portfolio by more than 2,000 rooms. The strategic expansion will encompass pivotal tier-I, II, and III cities like Jaipur, Gurugram, Jamshedpur, Meerut, Jabalpur, and Thiruvananthapuram. Furthermore, the company will extend its reach to include leisure, pilgrim, and wellness destinations such as Goa, Udaipur, Kumbhalgarh, Somnath, Dehradun, and Kanha.
In addition to its core offerings, Lemon Tree Hotels aims to bolster its Aurika Hotels & Resorts brand by introducing two new upscale resorts. The forthcoming 110-key Aurika in Kasauli is slated for a late-year debut, while the 132-key Aurika in Rishikesh is poised to open its doors early next year.
The company's growth trajectory will be further propelled by conversions, involving standalone hotels or partnerships with other branded establishments. This strategic approach underscores Lemon Tree Hotels' commitment to expansion, with its operating owned inventory nearing 6,000 rooms and managed inventory hovering around 4,500 rooms.
Notably, last year witnessed significant milestones for the company, marked by the launch of 1,375 new rooms across 14 hotels, including the impressive 669-room Aurika Mumbai Skycity.
