Zifo's 1,000-Strong Expansion Injects ₹1,000 Crore Boost

Zifo, headquartered in Chennai and specializing in IT services tailored for the life sciences industry, is poised for a significant expansion within the city. With ambitions to onboard approximately 1,000 new employees over the course of the calendar year, the company is steadfast in its pursuit of achieving a remarkable revenue milestone of ₹1,000 crore by the conclusion of the ongoing fiscal year on March 31, 2024.

Raj Prakash, serving as the Managing Director and CEO of Zifo, highlights the company's robust growth trajectory, averaging around 30% annually in recent years. Founded in 2008, Zifo initially concentrated on delivering niche IT services tailored for clinical trials applications within the life sciences domain. Subsequently, it has undergone a strategic evolution into a comprehensive clinical biometrics service provider, augmenting its offerings to encompass research and lab information services.

Prakash elucidates, "We are the preferred scientific informatics partners for 11 out of the top 15 global biopharma companies. We assist them in expediting their drug discovery and development processes," refraining from disclosing specific client identities. Zifo's service portfolio spans diverse domains, encompassing R&D, manufacturing, and clinical sectors across pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and chemical industries.
