Linde India has emerged as the sole bidder for the establishment of a compressed air and nitrogen plant at the Kochi refinery of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL).
The financial bids for the project were opened on 9 July 2025 and are currently under evaluation. The tender was floated by Engineers India Ltd (EIL) as part of BPCL’s ongoing initiatives to modernize and expand the operational capabilities of its Kochi facility.
Linde India, a subsidiary of the global industrial gases and engineering giant, is renowned for its expertise in gas production technologies and has a strong presence across India’s industrial and energy sectors. The outcome of the evaluation process will determine the next course of action regarding contract award and project execution.
