Luxury Lands in Jaisalmer: The Leela's Newest Gem

The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts has announced the signing of a management agreement for The Leela Jaisalmer, a luxury desert resort and spa in Rajasthan.

Scheduled to open in 2026, the resort will span 30 acres in the heart of the Thar Desert, featuring 80 elegantly designed rooms, an expansive spa and wellness center, diverse dining experiences, and a man-made lake. Located near the iconic Jaisalmer Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the property will enhance The Leela’s footprint across Rajasthan’s cultural and leisure destinations, complementing its existing hotels in Udaipur and Jaipur.

This development underscores The Leela’s strategic focus on expanding through managed assets while upholding its hallmark standards of luxury, service excellence, and Indian hospitality.
