Maharashtra & ANSR Ink Deal for Navi Mumbai's GCC City

ANSR has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Maharashtra to develop a dedicated Global Capability Center (GCC) City in Navi Mumbai. The agreement was formalized in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

This development follows the recent approval of Maharashtra’s new GCC Policy on September 30, 2025, which aims to position the state as a leading destination for global enterprises establishing capability and innovation hubs.

Under the MoU, ANSR will spearhead the conceptualisation, design, and investment in infrastructure for the upcoming GCC City. The state government will facilitate the initiative by identifying suitable land parcels, ensuring inter-departmental coordination, and streamlining policy-level approvals.

Lalit Ahuja, Founder and CEO of ANSR, stated that the project seeks to establish Maharashtra as the “GCC capital of India,” citing the state’s AI-ready talent pool as a key factor attracting global corporations to set up operations.
