Major Bridge Construction Tender Announced for Chunar-Chopan Project

North Central Railway (NCR) has announced a significant tender for constructing a crucial bridge as part of the Chunar-Chopan doubling project in Uttar Pradesh. The project aims to enhance connectivity and improve transportation efficiency in the region.

This ambitious project involves the construction of Bridge No. 399, spanning an impressive length with two sections of 30.5 meters and fourteen sections of 76.2 meters each. Located at kilometer 143/2-24 between AGY and CPU across the Sone river, this bridge is a vital component of the overall infrastructure upgrade.

The entire project is slated for completion within 30 months, demonstrating a commitment to timely execution. The estimated cost for this extensive construction is pegged at Rs 230.33 crore, reflecting the scale and complexity of the work involved.

Interested contractors and firms must submit their bids by the due date of 11 September 2024. This tender represents a substantial opportunity for qualified bidders to contribute to a landmark infrastructure project in Uttar Pradesh.
