The Uttar Pradesh State Bridge Corporation has announced a tender for the construction of a significant two-lane bridge over the River Ganga. This project will connect Rampur Ghat with Mirzapur and Bhadohi districts, enhancing regional connectivity and infrastructure.
The bridge will be built using an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) model, which includes not only the main structure but also footpaths, additional approaches, and necessary protection works. This comprehensive approach ensures the bridge will be fully integrated into the surrounding infrastructure.
The total cost for this ambitious project is estimated at Rs 238.28 crore. This substantial investment reflects the importance of the bridge in facilitating transportation and boosting economic activity in the region.
Interested parties have until 23 August 2024 to submit their bids. The timeline highlights the project's urgency and the corporation's commitment to promptly advancing the construction.
Once completed, the bridge is expected to significantly reduce travel time and improve the overall quality of transportation across the River Ganga, making it a critical infrastructure development for Uttar Pradesh.
